The Red Canoe
Shot in 2007. I remember it took me a while to get this the way I wanted it. I love the green boathouse with the red canoe - but even a long exposure in the darks of the Muskoka night could not produce the lighting I wanted. After some though I pulled out my flashlight and with the camera shutter open, I began to light up the boathouse. I have had some negative critique over the years indicating that the moon is too bright. Personally, I think it works well.
Thanks to my friend Colin Storey's parents Gil and Janet for permitting to stay at their cottage for the evening so I could take this photo.
One of the advantages of living in a diverse multicultrual city such as Toronto is that you can get almost any food from around the world (I have yet to find Vegimite).
I just thought that this was cute. Big waffle cone in contrast to the girl delicately enjoying it.

A Day In The Life Of A Cub
Summer time, looking towards Whistler Blackcomb
Train wreck, Whistler BC
This train wreck is down in the ravine. The cars were left as it would have cost the rail company a small fortune to recover. Colourful spray paintings have been added over the years and someone went to the trouble of building bicycle jumps in and around the wreck.
