Shot in 2007. I remember it took me a while to get this the way I wanted it. I love the green boathouse with the red canoe - but even a long exposure in the darks of the Muskoka night could not produce the lighting I wanted. After some though I pulled out my flashlight and with the camera shutter open, I began to light up the boathouse. I have had some negative critique over the years indicating that the moon is too bright. Personally, I think it works well.
Thanks to my friend Colin Storey's parents Gil and Janet for permitting to stay at their cottage for the evening so I could take this photo.Alexandra Bridge

This train wreck is down in the ravine. The cars were left as it would have cost the rail company a small fortune to recover. Colourful spray paintings have been added over the years and someone went to the trouble of building bicycle jumps in and around the wreck.
